Twitlonger

I created this blog mainly because I love to Tweet but I also like to Twitlonger. So I figured I needed a space to say all that I want to say without being limited to 140 characters. I LUV twitter, by the way, but sometimes, I want to get some things 'off my chest', so to speak. Like this morning, when I clicked on a link that said "50 cent rushed to the hospital." I'm thinking, OMG, what has happened to 50 cent. I hope he's OK. But what did I find? A parody. OK. I can take a good parody, but somehow, this one rubbed me the wrong way. Why is 50 always bashing folks? And not just anybody, but other black artists?@??# In this clip, he was poking fun at FatJoes new cd. It was so funny to him that he had to be rushed to the hospital. Ha, ha ha. Maybe it was morning and I wasn't in the best mood. Or maybe, I'm just sick of 'Fithy' bashing and bullying people, especially fellow black artists. I mean, he has alot of money, so go find a charity or community service project to get involved in. Seriously, we need to lift each other UP, not tear each other down.

OK. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let me move on to another subject that's been talked about lately. The 'N' word. Now maybe it's me but...why can't we (black folks) see that calling each other the 'N' word is NOT FUNNY, or cute, or a term of endearment. A term of endearment is a term that can be used by anybody, to anybody, no matter what color or culture. But let a white person call a black person the 'N' word and see what happens. Yeah...I thought so. Enough said.
